Its long ranged M58 120mm gun was designed to destroy enemy tanks at extreme ranges. By the mid 1960s the M103s had been upgraded to the M103A2 model. It featured improved sights, stereoscopic rangefinder, and a ballistic computer. It also got same powerful diesel engine as the M60 tank, which increased its road
