The nose is both rich and complex, with inviting notes of blackberry, coriander, rose, iodine and spices. The taste is characteristic of the Barbera grape; it is crisp and well balanced with persistent tannins and mineral undertones. After harvest, the wine is aged for 24 months in small barrels made of French and Slavic oak. It is then further matured in steel tanks before bottling, and
