Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru 2020 Aged in oak barrelsThis plot belonged to the monks of the Bze monastery, and vines were planted here as early as 630 AD. The wine is referred to as the "King of Wines", and Camille Rodier noted that this one wine contained all the good qualities from the entire Burgundy area. The domain's plot is 1. 5 hectares and the vines were planted in 1949. The Domaine's Grands Crus are matured in oak barrels (80% new barrels) made from wood from the Allier and Nivernais regions.
